Let me Introduce myself Hello!

Hello, I’m Emily

I’m the founder of Alba Moon, a Certified Nutrition Consultant, postpartum doula, and guide for women navigating the emotional seasons of motherhood. My work is shaped by the belief that women deserve to feel nourished, supported, and honoured through pregnancy, postpartum, and the many transitions that come with becoming a mother.

Alba Moon grew from my own experiences of motherhood, fertility challenges, IVF, and genetic testing, and from a deep understanding of how much women can carry quietly during these seasons. Through this journey, I felt the absence of spaces where women could speak openly, be witnessed, and feel truly supported.

What began as a calling to offer the care I once longed for has grown into a gentle, welcoming space where women are met with presence, listening, and care.

The heart of my work

At the centre of everything I offer is Holding Space.

Holding Space is a gentle, intentional way of supporting women through listening, presence, and care. It is not about fixing, analysing, or offering answers. It is about creating a safe space where women can reflect on their experiences and speak what feels true, without judgement or rush.

This work supports women through birth reflection, fertility journeys, pregnancy transitions, postpartum emotional processing, and the ongoing shifts of womanhood.

My approach is shaped by my lived experience, my background in postpartum care and nutrition, and my continued learning in how to support women with sensitivity, awareness, and respect for their stories.

How I support women

Through Alba Moon, I offer care in several ways. I hold space for women through one to one reflection sessions. I support women in pregnancy and postpartum preparation.

I create nourishment through the Mamma Moon Menu to support healing, recovery, and ease during tender seasons. Each offering is shaped with intention and designed to meet women where they are.

What you can expect

Sessions and support are unhurried and guided by your needs on the day. There is no expectation to arrive with anything prepared, and no pressure to share more than feels right. Care is offered with gentleness, respect, and presence.

In Her Season podcast

Alongside my one to one work, I co host the podcast In Her Season with Alana. The podcast is a space for honest conversations about motherhood, fertility, parenthood, loss, and the many transitions women move through. It exists to remind women that they are not alone in what they are carrying. If you would like to hear more about my personal journey through IVF and genetic testing, you can listen to the episode Emily’s Story: IVF and Genetic Testing on In Her Season.

The Alba Moon Village

Alongside my one to one work, Alba Moon has grown into a wider space of connection. The Alba Moon Village is a curated collective of practitioners and services who support women through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and the many transitions of womanhood. It exists to remind women that support does not live in one place, and that care is often found through community, collaboration, and shared wisdom. The Village is an extension of the values that guide my work. Gentle care, respect for women’s experiences, and the belief that no one is meant to walk these seasons alone. You’re welcome to explore the Explore the Village here

No matter what season you’re in, you are welcome here, and I’m honoured to walk beside you in whatever comes next.

My hope is that every woman I meet feels safe, supported, and gently reminded of her own strength. Through nourishment, reflection, and community, I am here to walk beside you in this season of your life.

This work is not a replacement for medical or mental health care. Women are always encouraged to seek additional professional support when needed.
