Postpartum Doula
My name is Emily and I am the creator of Alba Moon, a supportive space for mothers and families during the fourth trimester. This work is deeply personal to me, shaped by my own experience of becoming a mother and my background in holistic care and community support.
Before motherhood, I was someone who loved holding space for others, but it was not until I became a mother myself that I truly understood how much care new mums need. In those early months I felt stretched in every direction, navigating feeding, sleep deprivation, identity shifts and the weight of expectations. It was beautiful and raw and at times completely overwhelming.
I created Alba Moon as the kind of support I needed. A calm and reassuring presence. A reminder that we are not meant to do this alone.
The fourth trimester is about more than physical recovery. It is about adjusting to a new identity, making peace with a changing body and mind, and finding balance in a whole new world. Alba Moon offers practical tools, nurturing guidance and a community that understands.
It is not just for mothers. It is for families too. Because when the whole unit is supported, everyone benefits.
Through Alba Moon I hope to ease the load, even just a little, and bring more calm and confidence into those early months. This is my way of giving back to the community that shaped me and of honouring the transformation that continues to shape who I am.
