Five Conversations to Have Before Your Baby Arrives
A free, live 45-minute introduction to HELD
Preparing for the baby and the woman you are becoming.
Sunday 11th October 2026
7:00 pm Victoria Time
Live online via Zoom
We spend so much time preparing for the baby.
But what about preparing for the weeks after birth and the woman you are becoming?
Join me, Emily , founder of Alba Moon, for a warm and practical conversation about five things worth discussing before your baby arrives:
Who will care for you?
What will rest look like?
What boundaries will you have around visitors?
Who will help with everyday life?
How will you recognise and ask for help?
This isn’t about having the perfect postpartum plan.
It’s about beginning conversations that can help you feel more supported, prepared and understood as you step into motherhood.
What we’ll cover
During our 45 minutes together, I’ll guide you through the five conversations and give you simple questions you can continue discussing with your partner or support people.
You’ll also receive a reflection and conversation planner to use during the session and continue with afterwards.
Who this session is for
This session is for women who are pregnant and would like to think beyond preparing for birth.
You’re welcome to attend on your own or with your partner.
No preparation is needed, and you won’t be expected to share anything personal with the group.
About HELD
These five conversations are a starting point.
Inside HELD, we have more time to prepare for the physical, emotional and practical parts of postpartum, as well as the woman you are becoming.
HELD is my six-week online postpartum preparation group for women and their partners.
During this free session, I’ll briefly explain what HELD is, what we explore together and answer any questions you may have.
